About Trotting Forward


Trotting Forward Equitation started how I believe most horse related organizations and businesses start;
Someone with a dream.
A dream to be around and help struggling horses succeed, and a passion to learn how to accomplish that.

I've had the opportunity to work with many unique horses. Each one has its own story. It has its own fears, its own mind, and its own "horsinality".
 
While every horse may have a different background and differences in their personalities, they all have some things in common; horses are curious, smart, incredible creatures who are willing to learn... 
if we are willing to teach.

This is why I love training horses, and why I pursue consistent growth in this career.

I have over 7 years of hands-on experience with equine training. Including colt starting, behavioral training, and re-starting horses who have had unfortunate past experiences such as abuse/neglect. In addition, I am certified by Michigan State University in horse handling, manners and behavior.

With your horse's best interest at heart, I dedicate my time to find the best way your horse learns and adjust my training according to what they need. I've found this method to be extremely beneficial in allowing your horse to get the most out of their training. Whether they're struggling with lack of confidence, an abusive past, poor temperament, or just starting out, I believe Trotting Forward Equitation will be able to assist you in bettering your horse's knowledge and acceptance of leadership.
